Booking Policies​

Reservation & Cancellation Policy

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. 

The remaining balance is due 60 days prior to arrival.

Reservations made within 60 days of arrival require full payment at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing.

• 90+ days before arrival: Full refund, less 15% for administrative and CC processing fees.

• 60–89 days before arrival: 50% refund

• Less than 60 days before arrival: No refunds. Account credits may be offered on a case-by-case basis.

Children Policy
King Lewey’s Island Resort is family-friendly, and children are always welcome! Children 12 and under receive discounted booking rates and lower All-Inclusive pricing.

Because we are a private island surrounded by open water, parents and guardians are responsible for actively supervising their children at all times, including around docks, decks, swimming areas and water activities. There is no lifeguard on duty. Life jackets are available, and their use is strongly encouraged for children when appropriate.

Weather-Related Cancellations

If weather conditions make boat travel unsafe, we will reschedule your transfer whenever possible. If rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund less a 15% administrative fee will be issued.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against unexpected events that may affect your trip.

Damage Policy

Guests are responsible for any damage caused to resort property or equipment due to negligence or accidents. Repair or replacement costs, including shipping and applicable duties, will be charged to the responsible guest.​​​

No Outside Food & Beverage Allowed

To support our island restaurant and bar operations, outside food and beverages are not permitted on the island. Exceptions may be made for infant formula, baby food, medically necessary dietary items, or other special circumstances.

Right to Refuse Service or Cancel Reservations

King Lewey’s Island Resort is a small, privately owned island where guests and staff share limited space and amenities. To protect the safety, comfort, and experience of everyone on the island, all reservations are subject to final acceptance by the resort.

King Lewey’s Island Resort reserves the right to refuse service, cancel a reservation before arrival, or require a guest to leave the island for abusive, disruptive or inappropriate behavior, failure to follow resort policies, or other circumstances we reasonably believe may negatively affect our guests, staff, property or overall island experience.
