Our 1 acre Pirate themed island offers panoramic views of crystal clear Caribbean Sea unmatched by any other beach in the area. We have quickly become a destination within the Placencia and Hopkins area.
Our onsite restaurant Black Pearl is home to some of the best chefs in the country recognized by local awards within the industry. Our in-house chefs are ready to cater to your requests delivering Gourmet meals from Live Lobster dinners and prime steak cuts to our famous King Burger and other delicacies.
Our professional mixologists are ready to pour crafted drinks. Homemade ginger beer, infused rums, and a wide selection of local and imported spirits make us one of the best bars in the area.
Snorkel right off of our dock and encounter an array of marine life: colorful coral, angelfish, sea horse, nurse sharks, eagle rays, parrot fish, sargeant majors, box fish, cow fish, flounder fish swim freely around the island.
Our in-house manager/ concierge will assist in reserving snorkel, dive and fishing excursions. We sit right on the fly fishing haven, we have had guests catch permit fish right off of our dock.

NOTE that 9% Hotel Tax and 10% Service Charge are not included in the room rate or total charges when booking directly on our website. This will be added to your tab to be paid during checkout.
Likewise, the rate of US$295.00 is for 2 people sharing a cabana. Our cabanas can sleep up to 4 people and each person after 2 pays US$60.00 per person each.
Additionally, stays of just one night are subject to a US$250.00 transportation surcharge. Stays of 2 or more nights are exempt of this.
Additional per person charges, as well as transportation surcharge, are subject to taxes/service charges.

Upon confirmation of reservation, a 50% deposit is required within 48 hours to hold reservation.

Full payment is due 60 days (or 2 months) prior to the reservation date.

If reservation is made within 60 days (or 2 months) of reservation date, full payment is due at time of reservation.

Can be made via/ Check, Credit Card, Direct Deposits and Wire Transfers to King Lewey’s Island Resort.
Cancellation Policy

All cancellations must be submitted in writing (email preferably).

A full refund (less a 10% administrative fee) of the full reservation amount will be given if reservation is cancelled more than 90 days (or 3 months) prior to reservation date.

If a reservation is cancelled less than 90 days (or 3 months) but more than 60 days (or 2 months) prior to reservation date, 50% refund will be given.

If a reservation is cancelled less than 60 days (or 2 months) prior to reservation date, NO REFUND will be given; however, credits may be held on account on a case to case basis.

No refunds will be given in Holiday Season (12/01 to 01/31).

For days when King Lewey’s Island Resort deems small craft conditions unsafe due to weather, boat transfers will be rescheduled to a next available date.

If there are any scheduling conflicts a full refund (less a 10% administrative fee) of the full reservation amount will be given. • This policy is indisputable regardless of the reason for the cancellation. King Lewey’s Island Resort strongly suggests buying adequate travel insurance. Clients should make sure this insurance covers delayed/cancelled travel services, weather, health, family and personal related cancellations.
Damage Policy

Customer agrees to pay for any and all damages in the event of negligence and/or accidents to the resort facilities or equipment by the customer and/or his travel companions.

The cost will be billed at retail value + shipping expenses + customs duties + installation expenses
